煙臺(tái)國(guó)際博覽中心是受煙臺(tái)市委、市政府委托，由南山集團(tuán)開(kāi)發(fā)建設(shè)并經(jīng)營(yíng)管理的。2005年12月10日破土動(dòng)工，2006年9月26日建成并投入使用。歷時(shí)9個(gè)多月的時(shí)間建設(shè)完成�？傉嫉孛娣e26.7公頃，總建筑面積為15.8萬(wàn)㎡，其中：
室外廣場(chǎng)：
室外廣場(chǎng)面積6萬(wàn)平方米，有大型景觀雕塑及水系，設(shè)計(jì)簡(jiǎn)潔大方。
室內(nèi)展館：
展館面積 59360㎡，可容納3800個(gè)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)展位。
其中
1、登錄大廳：11360㎡。
2、室內(nèi)展館有6個(gè)，分為2層，展館面積6200㎡/個(gè)，
總面積為37200㎡。（一層凈高11米，地面承重5t/㎡，
二層凈高10米，地面承重1.5t/㎡。）
3、常年展示廳6個(gè)，面積為1800㎡/個(gè)，
總使用面積為10800㎡。館內(nèi)各類(lèi)現(xiàn)代化設(shè)施配套齊全，
展館北側(cè)有18米寬的貨運(yùn)平臺(tái)，車(chē)輛可從環(huán)形通道直接進(jìn)入。
會(huì)議中心：
會(huì)議中心共有會(huì)議室14個(gè)，貴賓室5個(gè)。其中世紀(jì)廳1500人（有進(jìn)口6+1同聲傳譯、紅外線接收及自動(dòng)表決系統(tǒng)）、論壇廳300人、新聞發(fā)布廳100人、160人會(huì)議室11個(gè)、可承接各類(lèi)會(huì)議、學(xué)術(shù)論壇、商業(yè)洽談和文藝演出等活動(dòng)。
煙臺(tái)國(guó)際博覽中心位于萊山區(qū)體育公園東側(cè)，是山東省內(nèi)規(guī)模**大、檔次**高的會(huì)展場(chǎng)館。
其設(shè)計(jì)風(fēng)格和建設(shè)水平居世界領(lǐng)先地位，主要用于承辦各類(lèi)大型展覽活動(dòng)、學(xué)術(shù)研討活動(dòng)和承辦各類(lèi)會(huì)議、項(xiàng)目推介、兼顧宴會(huì)、文藝演出等活動(dòng)。
